Quick Tip: A White Board in the Shower

For some reason, the second I step into the shower, and stare at this, ALL of the things I need to remember immediately begin to bombard my brain:

 Inspiring, I know…

It’s like it knows I can’t go anywhere or write stuff down or hop out to find a piece of paper. So the list making continues until my shower is over, and then everything that’s been spewing out of my brain stops…likes it’s invisibly connected to the water faucet.

So, one day I came up with a solution:

See it? Up there in the top left corner?

Yeah, I grabbed a waterproof marker BEFORE my shower, and the moment the ideas and errands and reminders began pouring out with the hot water, I started writing them down. Up high, too, or the water would erase it. And the marker doesn’t like to write on wet walls.

My green friend now sits on the top of the shower door (where cute kidlets can’t steal it) just in case I need to use it to remind me of something or a good Free Stylin’ idea hits me. Or as a reminder to my partner in crime cute friend Janae to freakin’ call me back already. ;)

So, yeah. That’s my quick tip today. If you have a shower wall that’s erasable, and you need to remind yourself of stuff, write it down where you’re thinking about it. Even if people walk into your bathroom and roll their eyes because you’ve always been a bit of a question mark, and now you’re giving them just a little more evidence to go with. :)
